finally installed gear shift position indicator. The hardest part was remembering single din plate, dash bezel, radio dash bezel cover plate, radio sleeve, then radio lol (inside to outer).
I’m gonna save this quote for the future. Seriously- I’ve had mine apart a couple times, and always forget the sequence.

What do y'all use to cut the grease on the transmission housing? I have a pressure washer too.
Gunk and super clean work well. As well as schaeffers citrol.

Pretty simple remove and replace.No removal of bulb bucket material required.
New bulb gasket makes it a little tight. I think over time the sharp edge of the bulb bucket will cut through the soft rubber of the new gasket.
The keys on the rear of the new glass bulb housing line up into the bucket quite well.
The only thing I don't like is how slightly off vertical the prisms on the new glass bulb housing lenses are.

With a little dialectric grease new plugs slid right on.

Tonight I'll get some dashcam footage and post before and after video at night.FYI it took less than 45minutes and was in no hurry.

Old gas from the junk cars ive gotten.

New gas works even better, but it aint cheap, anymore, haha

I agree with @Snoots oven cleaner. Pressure washer will work great on clean off just make sure you are wearing safety classes.

Cleaned off a couple of years of dirt, Finished the fuel lines to the engine. Serviced the transmission, transfer case front and rear differentials with the proper gear lube. pulled out the profane body mounts for the cab, couple more things come to mind. But the cab is going back on!

Hmmm...road trip maybe...to Texas?? There's that classic truck throwdown thingy this weekend. I hope I can go to it but gotta get some other stuff accomplished first.
