Fix what is broke. It looks really nice as is. Adding foreign parts is never the way forward if you don't need to.

Whatcha think about them? Been eyeing them for when I put a new bumper on my truck
You know they are strictly cosmetic...but they are well made, the chrome is decent and the hardware looks strong. On a 4wd they look appropriate somehow.

I kept putting off buying them just in case the perfect winch and winch bumper appeared. That's what I really wanted but I also fear I would over use The Old Truck if I did that.

I did like the smooth, plain, clean front end look but these add some bling and make The Truck look "tough". My son is so happy with them that if he had a tail he would be wagging it.

Good to know. I'm not a fan of square headlight trucks without them personally. Mine aren't bad and are straight, I'm gonna try some 0000 steel wool and polish to see if they'll come back but if not, I'll pick up a set of these

Oh snap, my bad. I haven’t had enough coffee. Thought it was the license plate, didn’t see the horns. Facepalm.
I could see how that mix-up could happen.

I did that "1987" plate for two reasons.
1. When people approach me at gas stations, store parking lots, at red lights, they always start off with "What year is that truck?". While I love the conversation starter, I thought that might help.

2. At car shows I always see a few vehicles that leave me wondering "Exactly what year model is that?" I know enough to get pretty close but sometimes it would be nice to have some indication of EXACTLY what year a vehicle might be.

I have seen too many vintage car owners get offended because some friendly person did not know the exact year of their vehicle. Never made a lot of sense to me but everyone handles their car show vehicles with different attitudes.
