Cleaned and organized my 5 gallon pail of nuts and bolts.

Had then soaking in vinegar for a week. Vinegar does an amazing job on rust. Got most if not all the rust off, most came out shiney silver again.

I had a 83 mustang that I tinted limo all around. Hard to drive at night. Won't do that again. Lol

I used it to run a bunch of errands today. I kind of think I should not drive it as much as I do but it was a beautiful day and I just wanted to enjoy the Old Truck. It is also a lot more maneuverable than my '19 2500HD.

Have you tried Naval Jelly?? Works great on rust

Nope, never tried it.

I just bought a gallon of Hydrochloric acid the other day, for whatever still needs cleaning aftee the vinegar finishes..

After I organized then, and let them dry, I separated then into smaller batches, and I'm gonna do the vinegar soak again each for a day. I also strained the vinegar threw an old pillow case, to get all the dirt, hay, paint chips, and rust dust and sludge out of it. Whatever still needs it is getting the heavy duty acid, then after that, probably some degreaser to keep them from getting rusty again.
