Wanting 38s

Hello I'm am looking to see how big of a lift I need to fit and clear 38/15/r18 toyos I have an 87 suburban 2500 i don't know the lift size on it now but it has 35s on it now what all would I have to change out also as in stealing arm or any thing like that

I would think either 8" or 9" would work. Not sure how much flex room you would have tho.

Yeah not to get of subject but does any one know where to get a awesome safari style roof rack for a decent price or a good way to make one

No I wanna keep all the metal it's just gonna be my mint pavement pounder

You'll need at least 8". If you're using wide aftermarket wheels expect to go more like 10".

Hey what size are those rims anyway? I forgot to ask before.

Thats my vote too.. I'd say minimum of 8 if you arent trimming.

Plus, 8" lift with 38's would look sick anyways. Do it.. then post pics.
