valve cover grommet, stock, what size?

The holes in my '84 covers measure at about 13/16 diameter. I found out they use the same grommets as my cast aluminum '91 454 valve covers. I need new grommets too, I'll probably just order them from GM.

I measured the wrong ones.... Those were my measurements for my center-bolt covers

Well I have some non stock ones that I measured and they were 1" but that wont work for you either. I dont know why the stock ones are so hard to find measurements for.

mine probably are 13/16 then, my eyes aint the best, I thought 7/8 but 13/16 is close and might be exactly what they are.

FYI,

I found one at advance...

42052 pcv grommet, fit the hole in the VC perfect and then I got a 3/4 breather cap to go in it.
