Sum'bitch must not have had trailer brakes. Serves him right towing that thing with that reg. cab, bet it doesn't even have discs all the way around. That's a shame, I liked that little Isuzu (or whatever).

That crash is almost cartoonish. That is a mid to late 80 toyota truck, looked cool but no huge loss . As far as the drum rears on that pickup, yes it probably does have them. The 07 seirra I was rockin a while ago had drum rears, I could not believe it! I figured that **** would be phased out after 2001.

My new 02 Sierra ecsb had discs all the way around. You could see them threw my rims and a guy at a gas station asked me once if that came stock or if I'd customized with a rear disc kit...

All the ones I've worked on had discs.

Funny thing is that they're using a rear disc design originally used on the 1965 Corvette.

Interesting story about the e-brake in the rotor hat...The original design was born in 1963 or 1964 for the 1965 Corvette and the chief designer for Delco-Moraine HATED disc brakes. So he came up with this idea thinking GM would hate it but instead they ran with it. Then later they came up with the e-brake in the caliper, but went back to the mini drum design because people that didn't use the e-brake much were developing seized calipers.

The same person that designed the 1965 Corvette brakes also invented the self-adjusting drum brakes in 1962.

And there's your history lesson for today. lol
