That's the coolest pine wood derby car I've ever seen. That's awesome.

Thank you. Pinewood brings out some serious creativity in a lot of people. It was a lot of fun, even if the truck raced like, well,... like a truck.

I think you're right. I was thinking square body in general. My boys have a '73 step side K10 that's a matchbox. I forgot about specifically looking for a burb[/QU

While we're on the subject of "toy squares"...
I also made this '74 K30 long bed, with fully functional working suspension.
Shown doing a model burnout, and with miniature tools, lol.
Also has a vast assortment of trailers, (bumper pull and 5th wheel), add ons like a fully functional snow plow, rack, and tool box, and has many other mini tools and lumber. All hand-made by myself.
Dang man. I need your skills to build a trian that my son is after me to build

Haha, that's hilarious. In Pinewood you can either have style, or a winner, rarely both. You definitely won in the style department.

Also made this '86 K10 shortbox, with working suspension.
I call it 50/50. Half is old beatup farm truck with dents, dings, and mismatch panels, and half is newly restored with a roll bar, push bar, and a roll pan.
