Yipee !!! I get to sleep hard tonight. My PD is done early tonight. Got me an impound of some meth heads. Sad Sad Sad !!! But a tad funny too. The ******* dude was yelling in the backseat in cuffs, banging his head against the glass. The cop opens the door and told him nicely, you continue to do that, we're going to have a severe problem and you'll be shackled face down. Next time cop opens the door and yells at the guy, you keep that **** up buddy, I'll show you how to slam your damn head thru a cruiser window. 3rd time, back up came, they took him out, and shackled his legs up behind him, then shackled his feet to his hands behind his back and put him face down in the back seat. The guy was pist off saying he wasn't drunk, the people on meth don't have car wrecks and kill people that he should not be under arrest for driving under and possesion of a controlled substance. The ******* is hitting a crack pipe sitting at a red light. :wtf:

how many of you guy have ever seen a twin line Hubbard bed on a K30? I just picked this one up. Any of you even run a hubbard? I have one on my first wrecker that was fully mechanical and a beast. This one is hydrolic dual winch, power up and down on boom, and hydrolic spades on rear. more pictures to come once its unloded and daylight.

That thing is awesome, it's like a time machine, looking at the light bar and bumper. I really miss that era of trucks and parts and accessories.

Oh that one is awesome! What's the plans for it? Good enough to keep together?

No real plans yet. I'd like to put it back together, but have plenty of other wreckers. Bought it for about what it would scrap for so I couldn't go wrong.

Nope, never seen that before that I can think of. Lots of Holmes 440 set ups on Squares, and a few Vulcan strapless wheel lifts.

So I had this tow for a guy in a 2008 FJ Cruiser. It had been retrofitted with many off-road add-ons and was a pretty badass looking rig with a little over 80K miles. The guy had gone out to a flooded pasture to pull out a buddy. Engine stalls. He cranks it over a few revs, not start. Tries it again and clunk bang and then wouldn't turn over anymore. He get's out pops the hood and notices a puddle of oil under the motor and a chunk of metal on the ground. Dude had sucked in some water in his intake. Water doesn't compress it broke his block and head. Must have been some strong con rods is all I can say. Normally the rods and/or pistons will give up first.

At any rate, he had me tow it to this You'reAPeein Sports and Classics place. WOW is all I can say. This place is out in the country off the beaten path and has a solid metal siding fence around about 3-4 acres. I swear, I've never seen so much value in vehicles in one place on one lot in my life. There were Ferarri's, Lambo's, Range Rovers and Discos out the ass, Rolls Royces, Lotus's. Had plenty of Beamers and Benz's too but I've never seen as many exotics in one place. Beautiful cars. Got to talking to the guy a bit in amazement. Nice dude. I told him I wished I had some time to walk around and star gaze, he said I could come back someday and go for a walk around if I wanted. Like I'd ever have the time to do that but I'd sure like to.

I've got 6 K30 wreckers now, a furd super duppy, a C60 with a Holmes 1200, a furd f350 with a mechanical Hubbard, cooters 1971 c30 wrecker and a 05 duramax 5500 rollback. I have 3 of the k30's on the road currently and the rollback. Hopefully I would like to get another rollback and the C60 on road by next spring. I also have 4 Holmes 440 wrecker beds I've saved hoping to build a nice c30 sling truck for my salvage business to use. I'm going have to quit collecting till my shops finished to have $$$ to start going through the trucks lol

I'd love to have a Holmes 440 Sling truck, but on a K30, for parting out and scrapping bodies. Around here, there are many vehicles that are out in pastures rusting and rotting away, but with all the rain over the years they are partially buried and if any kind of recent rain, it's hard to get to them without getting stuck. A Fo Buh Fo would be great for cleaning up pastures and also for going wheeling at the river bottoms where people get stuck all the time in the deep sand. In those cases, a winch usually doesn't get it unless you have enough line and semi close to a bank where you can get some lift angle isntead of just a straight pull. Someone could make some cash with a K30 Holmes 440 with a good winch on it for the Tard Wheelers.
