What do you consider 455 HO heads? They are all HO if you ask me as long as they're aren't J heads off a 76 riddled with smog. I've got a complete set of E heads cores with a burnt valve I was going to sell for $150. $100 for anyone here will work but with shipping, I"m sure it would get right back up there. Some refer to Tornonado heads as HO since they are big valve. That also hurts your lower RPM grunt so pick your standards, you want the low end power or the high end power but BBO don't like high rpm since they are such a heavy rotating mass so I prefer my power at the bottom end. This is why Olds 455's are great jet boat motors.

I hear ya HR about letting go on some stuff. I'm still debating in a loop on parting with my 67 non square truck or not. Plus the 2 extra non gm engine to go with it. But I know if did get rid of it I'd regret cause its a truck. Different story if it was a car.

HO are a special chamber, the domes on the pistons only work with HO's. Any other head and they would make contact.

My health issues with my back, neck and hands, along with a couple other medical issues have finally come to a point where my Dr's are wanting me on disability and to quit putting off my surgeries. I've put them off for about 8 years now, and need even more now. Just a long story with lack of insurance since my insurance maxed payout this year and blah blah blah, and got a couple months behind on the house payment. No way I'll be able to weather the storm trying to get on disability, so pretty much selling **** instead of having to move it and hold onto the house til I can sell it in March when weather is better, and a better time to be selling it.
I have equity in the house, so as much as I friggin hate to, the plan is to sell the house, use the equity to pay off what little debt I have which is basically legal fees from the divorce and custody battles, live off the equity long enough to get disability going which takes many months sometimes, get the surgeries done, recover, rehab get back to work and start the fugg all over again. I hate it, because to me it's ****'in out, but I'm not being given much choice and If I'd ever get my 30x40 shop built in the backyard of this house and get the city off my ass, this house is perfect for what I need and the location is great and secure. But, it is what it is. I'll figure out a way, or I won't. That simple.
