Wow, that looks like a much later throttle body...like 90+
Does this truck have a PTO on it? Thats the only reason I could see having that bracket on the front of the throttle body, for a speed control cable.

Nothing currently or that I've seen may have been. Just electronic brakes. This gonna be an issue?

Nope. Like I said earlier, you will have to find a throttle body with the proper linkage.
Heres a suggestion. I have a proper throttle shaft to send you. I think you should take the shaft, and the throttle body to a machine shop, and have bushings installed, along with this throttle shaft, and then your ready to rock.

since you have the round TPS plug, I would say 1991 with 700r4, or anything truck with that trans 87-91 if you dont mind changing the plug.

Same number of pins right? Just cut and splice the plug?

....if I find a 87-91 350 with a 700r4...couldn't I pull the ecm and tranny lock up wires? Or is it a different harness all together?

And any provisions I need to worry about for cruise control?

You referring to the throttle position sensor or the tranny?

The one on the right is the fuel relay with that red wire with plug, and the one on the left is the kickdown relay for the TH 400.
