Hey,
I have been thinking about cheap performance options for an old worn down 350 engine and came across carb spacers. Do any of you have them and do they work? This is for a 2 bbl carb by the way

2V carb? First move would be a 4V. Engine masters TV show tested several spacers. Most showed some improvement. Should be able to find video on youtube.

The last time I hopped up a old worn down motor, I wound it all the way down to throwing a rod. Just saying, careful what you wish for.

That’s always in the back of my mind with this engine. Thanks for the advice. Maybe I’ll throw in a cam instead… any suggestions. ;)

Carb spacer on a Rochester 2bbl? That's a complete waste of time and energy, imho.

However, if you don't want to commit to a 4bbl, I do recommend getting an adapter and mounting up a Holley 2bbl. Its very simple, the butt dyno says it adds power, and you can actually tune the damn thing too.
