I would not worry about using the appropiate solder on a long length of wire in a conduit sleeve or at least not held at tension/retained by a plastic clip etc etc basically the length from both ends and the free-ness especially if staggered will unlikely produce a failure prone joining of two wires. especially if one uses nice shrink tubing to support the whole area.So now the gold standard for splicing wires or making connections is no good? Y’all crack me up!
I need to go tell all the soldered connections I’ve made on stuff in the last decade or so that they’re batting above their average and it’s time for them to come apart!
I think it got more to the theoretical aspect/worst case discussion not necssarily "dont do it because it will fail" but yours are probably good for the remainder of the life of truck for sure
