tail light connector what does this go to???

Need help, all lights work in back of my truck, except the rear side markers. does this connect to them? there is no plug- in for this to hook into. I thought license plate light, but they work!

dually? license markers are a single wire i think or maybe im thinking of a diffeent car

I have one like that on my truck under the L/R corner of the bed. It's for the tail gate clearance lights.

That is it ! Thanks, I don't have tailgate lights. So I don't need them. Now to find out why my side markers don't work back there.

Fixed the side marker lights. just needed new bulbs
