I just ordered and received a complete tach conversion kit with all new gauges and shift indicator for my '84 from LMC. Just waiting on the new lamp sockets to arrive then I'll be swapping out my well loved cluster for the new replacement. While spendy, it was way less than other options out there and I like my stock appearance interior.

They physically fit great and as for wiring it's pretty straight forward, all connections are done at single a module box and the cluster connects over a cat5 cable. But there are a lot of connections overall and can be intimidating for someone not good with electrical. I also use an add-on obd2 module so gages pick up data from the pcm like tack,speedo,inlet air temp,Trans temp,gear selection,4x4 and low range indicators so they really show a lot of information. Works very well with my gen3 LS 5.3.
