I’m looking to put 2 10” subs in my suburban but don’t really want to loose and space. Yeah, I know, not possible. But, I’d like some ideas from you guys where you’ve placed your subs. I’m even thinking of an easily removeable box so if I do need to fold down the seats for cargo, I can just take the box out and leave it at the house or garage.

Thanks

Ben

Old buddy of mine stuck two 12s in a spare tire shaped box and stuck in the spare well. Kept all his space. Called me the day he got a flat.
You got to listen to cool tunes while changed his tire?

Facing up, under the back seat. You could raise the backseat higher and inch and really only give better visibility for, I imagine, your kids to see
the road better. If that can work you wouldn't LOSE any space at all! Might be better than just sitting there loose like a REMOVABLE BOX, ready to rock and roll when the trial gets rough.
10" subs are easy to hide, unlike a 10" hose.

Mount the amp under the 2nd row then run speaker line from there to where you want to keep them, either behind the 2nd row or 3rd row if you have it. Use banana plugs or quick disconnects on the sub box speaker wires. Now you can quickly take the box out and you saved a bunch of money over going custom.

Yeah, I’ve already mounted my amp in my console because I never put things in there anyway. Plus I’ve installed usb and charge ports in there for new age accessories. I do have 3rd row seating and use it with my 3 children. I have tie down mounts I’ve put in the rear “bed” area to tie down potential flying projectiles so I’ll just use the square box I had in my 87 jimmy for this one too. I had the banana plugs for easy removal back then too.

Thanks guys.

Doesn't make any difference if your friends are ********* at times, they are still your friends!!!!
