Time to re-prioritize??

Money is tight. Got house repair priorities. I will get to it in the winter. I grabbed some xtra thumb tacks from work to hold it for a few more months, lol. I got to price out some fabric and glue.

I know it's noisy butat this point I'd take that headliner down and just rock it like that for a while

That's what I am going to do today after work, at work, lol. I am going to take out the two headlliner sections out, and scrape the foam off them, than take them home and leave them in the garage until I get some fabric or glue for it. Or maybe even just put them back in with nothing on them until I get the material to fix them......

Yeah, it's kinda scary, I left my house at 11:05 to go to work and grabbed the screw gun and wire brush to take the headliner out and I see you posted that the same time. :wtf:

Remember Dawg, you can save a **** load of money if you got to a HVAC supply house and buy duct board spray adhesive. That **** is like $5-$8 per can vs $20-$30 a can for the good headliner adhesive. Mine is still hanging good. I just figured if its good enough for duct board in a heat and AC duct, its obviously able to stand up to extreme hot and cold conditions. Any fabric store should have the material on a roll.

I might just trash it and bedliner spray the roof.

I'll post pics tomorrow or next week....

MIght not be a bad idea 89s. I'd say no and wait and see how you like the noise in the rain, and getting hotter in the summer sun heat before you do that. But, you've already pulled all the AC stuff. Sounds to me you're just kind of keeping this vehicle for a driver with 4x4, towing the boat and back up vehicle someday when you get another daily driver huh? In that case you might have a cheap idea and way out. But that liner spray isn't cheap either.

I agree. I'd keep that board (if it's still good) and just get it reupholstered this winter and put it back up  would be cheaper than liner.

All Phillips screws on the trim pieces and visors and center light cluster. Need to unplug that and the pass side visor that is backlit. 3 oh **** handles use 7/16 hex head bots. I didn't need to remove any of the upper seattbelt harnes points to get this out, but probably the 2 top ones in the back seat to reinstall.
