Glad to see it wrapping up. I was concerned the project stalled when you were gone for a bit. I love the look of it.

Tuesday evening I got into the interior and started scuffing up the floor and side walls in prep for some bed liner. Its a lot of work sanding the entire tub!

I bought a roll on kit from Monstaliner and its a neat kit. I got the 2 gallon kit and it comes with all the rollers, brush, paint pan, sticks and even some chemical resistant gloves. The only thing I had to buy was some MEK for clean up. You mix in the color additive first with a drill mixer (included) and then the catalyst.

Wednesday evening I cut in the rear walls and painted them, then the floor from the rear, working to the front. Its HARD on your knees! It took quite some time to apply the first coat. I let it flash till tacky ( about 1.5hrs) and then started the second coat, starting from the front this time. The second coat went on soooo nice and totally impressed me. Its thick and has an awesome texture to it, thanks to the special rollers.

After I was done I had barely a pint left. I think it looks great! I'm sure it will provide a lifetime of protection.

Yesterday I did A LOT of sanding! Cut, buff and polishing out the single stage paint is a lot of work, but worth the results.

Thanks for the nice comments guys! Its been a ton of work these past few weeks. I've been out in the garage till midnight most nights. I'll be glad when its driveable!

This weekend my son and worked on everything! Cleaning and painting hardware, had the windshield installed Friday, removed all the old exhaust to make room for a new Hooker kit I ordered, assembled the grille (with LED headlights that will melt your corneas), installed all door handle hardware, glove box and dash wiring addressed, new light lens everywhere, installed the gauge cluster and tested it out, wipers all installed and tested, bumpers and rear hitch along with a ton of other small detail things.

This week I hope to get the exhaust installed and gotta fix a bad trans leak, right at the speedo gear. Some special seal there that NOBODY carries. Gonna go by some local trans shops and pray one has it.

wow she's looking good!!! So glad you're completing this project. So many projects like this just end up on the scrap pile. So good to see one followed through with and made to look really nice like this.
