Here’s videos from this morning.

In the second video with the revs you can hear when I quickly wot it tries to die if I stay in it it will shake and sputter and eventuslly bring the rpm up. In the driving video I was laying into the throttle in the long straight, up hills it doesn’t seem like it wants to go much faster. My speedometer is off, it’s at about 100 when I’m sitting still so 0 is roughly 45. I showed the speedo at around 15 which would be around 60.

In which part? I leaned it some since I played with the timing. I did about a quarter turn in on each screw

How would I adjust the off idle mix? Metering rods and jets?

what hole on the accelerator pump lever is the linkage in? the one closests to the top of the carb is more aggressive and the furthest is least. I believe they come placed in the center.
You must be registered for see images attach

here is an old pic of mine, on the center(look at the brass linkage running from the throttle lever up to the top of the carb, its 3 circles with the link in the center of the 3) You may try the lower one if you wanted

I believe the accelerator is still in the middle I haven’t changed it. If I set it to the least would that effect the secondaries as well? I’d invest in an afr gauge but that’s a lot of work for my current exhaust it just doesn’t make it worth it.

Dude.
You are overflowing with questions.
Rather than guess what the settings are, take my advice and go look at it. You will likely be surprised to see you may find answers.

Don't try to skip ahead. Auto mechanics is slow and steady - one thing at a time, in my experience.
Getcha a pair of blinders and put.them.on.

That's good advice.

Horses wear blinders to reduce their field of vision and stay focused on their tasks. When pulling loads or racing, horses are easily distracted. Horses that pull wagons in cities need blinders to keep their attention focused straight ahead and block out the distractions around them.

I’ve had this carb apart before but I don’t remember the factory jet size or anything related, it’s all still factory settings. I’ll have to dig out the book and read up some. I agree I can’t concentrate on much of anything.

Vacuum advance on ported will always stumble on suddenly coming off idle. The vac cylinder needs time to synch up with manifold advance, which is where it should have been. Put the vacuum advance on manifold vacuum and retune.

move your vac adv to full manifold vac and try and put your acc pump rod in the top hole for a quicker pump shot , timing is very important on sbc they like around 34 to 36 degrees of total timing
