Storage tray behind the seat

When I went to fix my door slamming problem by adding the bushing to the door pins, I found a storage tray mounted behind the seat. It seems to be original to the truck and made of some cardboard-like material. It is very brittle, I assume from baking in the NC sun for 44 years, but it fits so well that I think it came from the factory. Does anyone else have one of these or know anything about it? I will upload pics this afternoon if not.

It's factory original. Sadly most haven't lasted as long as yours.

I had one on both my 74 and 80... The one on the 74 is still in good shape and I pulled it out before selling the truck. My 80 had developed a leak near the back window and that one had gotten soaking wet and warped beyond repair.

I've got one in my 85. It was MINT until I leaned on it and tore part of one side. Ticked me off.

Yep, that's it. Man, you can't even look at that thing hard without breaking something on it...but it is pretty cool.

That's the same brand as my underseat storage in the recently sold '02 Dodge 3500 DRW that I bought new.

Du-Ha is the brand. I had on under the seat on my 2016 Ram. The one above looks to be for a mid 90's Chevy. Dimensions: L 50 x W 6.5 x H 6.5. About $163 on Amazon.

I just received the referenced Bin and the material is good but the staples aren’t quite long enough to hold the thickest of the corners. The real problem is it has no accommodation for the three point belts. I partiality solved the problem by using a hole cutter to facilitate the bolt from the belt device allowing the belt retractor to be mounted inside the bin. The pan fits so snugly that it is virtually impossible to get the nut back on the retractor anchor bolt. I’m heading out now to work on a solution which I will document if successful.
