My Brother and I are restoring his 81 Chevy C10 Stepside and I started working on the filler pieces that mount on top of the bumper brackets. I have seen them referred to as gravel guards, stone guards, filler pieces, etc. GM called them stone deflectors part #325467 for both the left and right sides but the holes are drilled in different locations.

I still have the original ones but one of them is in real tired shape. I did a search here and Googled it and wasnt' able to find any. I know they make them for the fleetside but they are a different style and too long. Does anyone know if replacements are available or know where I can find one?

Any help would be appreciated!!!

ok thanks... I didn't realize the rear bumper brackets weren't available either. I thought the sport bumper brackets were the same for both the fleetside and stepside.

Stepside bumper brackets are indeed different. The bumper itself is the same as what was used on the '67-'72 trucks. I've always assumed that the brackets were the same too, but I have no idea if it's true.

I have a step side with a bumper that has no step. Need photos? I think that is the sport? I have good reason to think it’s original and untouched

Yes, rear bumpers were an option on a square pickup. Yes you could get a rear bumper that matched (complemented) the front bumper. Some upgrade packages included the bumper.

Those complementing bumpers are the rarest.

That one looks real nice, or at least the 3/4 that's visible does. Are the little filler panels still there?

They bolt to the top of the bumper brackets. So when you are looking at the truck, you see the filler panels and not the brackets.

Sport fleet side and step side rear bumpers are different, the easiest way to tell is fleet sides had 2 horizontal bolts for each bracket and step sides only have one. I am looking for these panels also and found them listed in the Brothers catalog along with the bumper brackets but have not purchased them to verify fitment. The panels part number is BCPSS87

Woot! First post, usually come on the site to grab the discount code for Rock Auto : )

If you do get a set of the filler panels let us know how they fit, I need a set for mine
