Na I don't have a leak. I have just let it idle for hours trying to figure out my idle issues. The 4mpg we were referring to was due to the old 1406 that I just replaced with a qjet.

I just got a calibration kit for my 1806 and it runs way better with better fuel economy. I had to lean it way out from there stock jets and rods. I leaned 8% on the secondary jets and 12% on the primary jets and rods also put in the purple springs which is 7 inches compared to the stock 5 inches

Edelbrock " runs right out of the box for stock applications " LOL a most completely untrue statement!

You only need the modified idle circuit if you are running a lopey cam otherwise you will have problems with the idle if your cam is not lopey

I've modded all my q jets idles circuits.. small rv or big cam and always noticed a better idle. Q jets rock!
