Ya @ g body (monte SS)OR Z-28 (f-body)
Pretty cheap and easy to end up with a 12.5:1 ratio.
What you need to know ;
Truck boxes are 4 bolt.
Car boxes are 3 bolt.
It'll bolt up, short one corner...
I imagine if you had the aftermatket frame braces, it would make me feel better about it. Granted jumping my truck or any kind of dune buggy **** is NOT in my k5s future and the above mentioned fact is of little concern to ME. Yet, it is a fact.
Buy a third gen Z 28 box and swap em out. You'll love it. Also need a mid to late 80s - early 90s JEEP XJ steering shaft.

Have I done any of that stuff?
Nope, but I know those things.

There is plenty of Grand Cherokees in the bond yards same chicken and they have a workable shaft attached to them. It took the ocean liner feel out of the Chevelle.

I already have the Jeep shaft and that is what lead me to the camaro box. I knew the camaro box was 3 bolts did not know that about the truck box though, guess if I need to rebuild it I will convert the 4 bolt box to camaro internals.

I wouldn't be very concerned about a Camaro box in a truck at all, but it IS worth noting. WHEN I do it, i'll rig those repair braces and stuff it in.
No problem.
Good luck man, take pics!
