I am also doing it to a 2 wheel drive crew cab now
I am converting it to a 4X4 and have figured out suburban spring hangers work well for 1 tons.
1tons have a taller frame where the spring mount goes so the mount from a 1/2 or 3/4 truck would hang down lower.
This is kinda hard to explain without pics so look for a 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive conversion thread Coming soon as I get pics I will post up a lot of info on spring hangers and my swap
