OK so that means the end of the spring is 8" above the bracket. When it is flipped it will be 8" below the bracket for a total of 16" of difference but since it is only lifting the rear half of the spring it will only net around 8" lift. And that seems like too much. Most of the time I've seen 4" shackles, flipped equaling 4" of lift. With 8" of shackle flip lift your pinion angle is really gonna suck which is why I'm saying I dont think it is actually an 8" shackle. Not calling you a liar just saying get a ruler or tape measure and be sure. Cause if it is 8" you're going to have some work making it work right. How much lift are you wanting to get anyway?
