Spartan Locker into a Dana 60 Front

Through in a new Spartan Locker in my D60 today.

This is how I got it from Randy's Ring and Pinion.

Broke down tire and hub to be able to pull the axle out some. Also dropped and drained cover, of course.

Knocked cross pin shaft retaining pin to remove cross pin shaft.

Removing spider gears was a biotech!

Then I installed the locker as per instructions.

The only thing bad about the instructions was that is said to take out all the shims and nothing about re-using them so I started installing the locker and realized I needed the shims...lol.

When I put the shims back in, it looked a lot better.

Cross pin shaft and retaining pin installed. The locker came with new ones.

Finished product minus diff cover fluid, hubs back and tires back on.
