Gets some pics of what you see and put them up..

The emissions pipes to the exhaust manifold and the vacuum lines all route in some way to this belt drivin pump that that the hands are pointing to. Is that the air/smog pump? if so this it looks as if its running on its own belt separate from the rest of the pullys, can I just remove the belt and the whole pump all together and just screw a plug into the exhaust manifolds? I plan to put headers and remove the old cats with a new exhaust system in very soon.

yes that is the air pump. It essentially just injects NOX into the intake which cannot burn and therefore lowers the amount of emissions put out by the engine.

You can yank all of that, it will take work and you would need to plug up the holes left by it.

Ok sounds good I appreciate all the help.. I know one of the emissions lines run to that canister from the gas tank to vent. I have 2 tanks only use 1, but When I remove all those lines and the canister how should I let the tank vent? ive read that some people just leave the hose hooked to the tank and redirect it upwards.
