I had a Pilipino as one of my DIs...that little bastard use to make me drop to my knees so he could be about 2" taller, and to be able to scream in my face. OH I hated that little bastard....

i change mine because was to big for me...but want to keep a OEM look so change it for a Camaro/Chevelle/Vega/Cavalier/'76 Corvette kind of style steering wheel! :)

All this crying about sticky stuff on the factory steering wheel! Clean it!
I'm sure your truck has bigger problems that need attention.

I am fine with the OEM wheel, I just put a leather cover on it to thicken it up

My wife loves the oem. I like it alot too. Took a minute to get used to the thinness of it, but the burb is already the size of a short bus, might as well have the same size steering wheel from a bus too.

Yep El Perdido!! Had a cover on my '85 for over 30 yrs.
When it starts getting kinda funky I just put on a new one.

I have an 86 with the factory steering wheel, it was terribly sticky when I got it. I had to pull it in order to change the turn signal switch, I used an orange based cleaner and a light weight wire brush, made it as good as new. Future sticky will be mine. Still like the factory wheel.

Changed to a 13” wheel and am also going to cut 2” out of the column this summer.
