Silverado? Scottsdale? Custom Deluxe?

Is there a down and dirty way to tell which model I have? The truck's been modified so much it's hard to tell. Only important to me because I'd like to replace the dash emblem.....hate having those three empty holes in an otherwise nice dash.

The truck has single headlights, which I believe would make it something other than a Silverado.

If anybody has a great way to hide/fill those holes where it looks good, I'm all ears.

I have an 81 Custom Deluxe 20 and it has single headlights and blinkers in the bumper.

Do you know the VIN#? It should tell you what you have.

Wonder if it's the original cab. My entire truck is a mish-mash of years/trucks. lol I have no idea about the history of anything except the cab that was swapped in.

Custom dash insert. You can create one without the holes, and any other custom touches you want! Is it an early or late dash? Flat insert or curved on the end by the door.

No emblems on the fenders? If not, pick a model and go with it!

Well, the truck has been modified a lot over the years. What I do know is:

No headliner or trim
Does not have pull straps on the door
Single headlights

I have the sticker on the glove compartment that does not mention "Silverado" or "Scottsdale"

By default, does that make it a "Custom deluxe?"

My 82 K10 is a Chevy "Custom Deluxe" nothing custom nor deluxe about the old gal! the most deluxe items are the emblems that say Custom Deluxe!
