Lol, if you add some black powder coat and some stainless cop car beauty rings, then yes.

Lol. Ok, that one flew over me....
I spent over 10 years with the company, so I have a little knowledge on their stuff. That's about all though.... Lol

Your date should be to the right of the DOT. Yeah, that's not the date code you took a pic of. Before 2000 would end with 3 digits to signify the date.
really?! so this is the date code:

Yup, That's it. First pic shows 87, or 97, since its 3 digits. Second pic is 2011. First two digits on both are the week of manufacture. The first ones are still junk now!!! Lol

I learn a lot from here, thanks! I usually get new tires based on age rather than tread life. at least I kind of got it right. Ive only been driving since 2000.

Same here! I've learned a tons thanks to everyone here. Yeah, and age isn't really set in stone. Firestone says 10 years. Others say different. That's all debatable....

Ok, one last question.... With the extended cab added on, and the flat bed- do you think they shortened the frame in back, or is it still the regular long bed length?
Still a long bed frame. The bed is the same length as a standard short bed. Just the wheel well is further forward in the bed.

The 16.5's used to be very common. But those 15's have got to be super duper rare.
Apparently they were made for drum brakes
Had to grind some metal off the calipers to get them to fit over the 3/4 ton brakes

I don’t think anyone makes 16.5 tires anymore

But we did find a guy on eBay that sells new slot mags and when we contacted him he said he could get 16s with no holes machined in the center so we could have a local machine shop put whatever lug lateen we wanted in em
