Should I try these wheels out?

What's on the truck now, and these when I go to Disney Oklahoma.

Humvee surplus tires. Super stiff sidewalls, but boy do they grip the rocks well. Conform real nice.

37x12.5x16.5 on old 78 chevy steels.

Although I usually pick aftermarket wheels over stock, I think your stock set up looks better. If you have rally wheels, I'd take those over stock style wheels.

Thanks for the input guys. I’ve decided not to use the aluminum wheels. I’ll be staying with the stock styles, 8” wide. Either steelies or rally’s. Not that the aftermarket wheels look bad, but they just didn’t grab my attention the way the factory style does.

That's all that matters, what makes you happy.

Look great either way.

I have all 3 factory styles; rally's on my r10 and 83 k5, wagons on my 82 k5, and spare aluminum the 82 k5 was born with. The only downside to the aluminum is the 15x7, the others are 15 x 8.

There is no wrong choice, just what you like best.
