Shortbed Stock Height Measurements

Question for you all,

So the previous owner of my truck torched the stock springs, and now every corner sits at a different height, Im trying to figure out where it should be and get an idea of what the stock height is.

I measured from the centerline of the tire/wheels up to the fender arch

Any one have this info?

I was looking at the ground clearance listed, but wasnt clear where that was measuring to, cross member and the bottom of the axle in the rear?

driver rear is sitting at ~30-3/8"
driver front is ~28-1/4"

tire size is 225-70-15

Wheel openings are a bad place to use, the front and rear are different heights and you can potentially have body bushing sag.

Find a way to measure between the frame and a control arm, etc. On 4wd's you measure between the top of the front axle tube and the bottom of the frame (stock = 8.5"), figure out something similar for your 2wd.

Also, different trucks had different ride heights. My '82 with 56" springs being a heavy half ton sat higher than my '87 with 52" springs, both short beds
