Ok both pumps I have look identical. The85 305 and the 87 350. They have the same numbers cast on the back. So either GM truck smog pumps were all the same or the 87s was replaced with an older one. I'm just gonna remove it for now to get the truck running. I was also having a problem finding the correct belt length for the system w/pump.

I'll pull it if you guys have suggestion on how to pass a visual emissions test. And will it do anything to the ecm for the tbi by not having it there? I know it has a wire to the obd1 plug

Just delete it, if they give you grief put the old back on for one day, pass inspection and swap it back again.

Thank god Watauga county in North Carolina is safety inspection only.... None of that emissions crap...

With AC. Just tried a 970k6 belt. Little too loose. Its looking like deleting it and paying off the inspection police

The cast markings on the back are 7832904. There is also a "23" stamped next to a "DF" inside a football looking oval. above the output port is "METRIC" then "0519"
