Second time squarebody owner, looking for some help I’m only 35 one year younger than my truck

Second time square body owner here, and I am battling some wiring issues under the dashboard been through hell and back with my big red beast it came with a 43 originally but before I bought it, it had a goodwrench 350 put in an motor and trans. Both only have 50 1/2 thousand miles but overtime. I’ve done some dumb **** and that dumb **** cost me to do some dumber **** to my poor baby and now I’m trying to reverse everything I’ve done my biggest problem wire right now is what is the orange and black wire under the dashboard of the brown connector and where does it go?

If I remember right, that goes to the brake light switch, right above the brake pedal. I could be wrong, and probably am.

I did try to look and that was hooked up already but thank you turned out someone said the clock I deleted and replaced with a tach so I’m good now
