I haven’t done much with LEDs myself. I do know they can be tricky with turn signals especially. LEDs are diodes which means electricity can only flow one way. Side marker turn signals actually flow both directions depending if headlights are on or not.
Also LED turn signals also can require a special flasher. (Which you knew) They don’t pull enough amps to heat the original flasher to make it work.
Maybe someone who knows more will jump in.
