I just realized I'm hijacking this post. I apologize and will post my question in a new thread. Again, apologies.

Here are the notes from my trie/wheel hunting. I also had the 16.5 rims and wanted to keep the steel rims to run the dog-dish hubcaps. One of my coworkers has an almost unhealthy Dodge addiction and was going to give me a set of steelies from his piles. He found the aluminum there and sold the set to me for a "song and dance." I spent an hour or so polishing each rim (over a few evenings), and I'm happy with the result. I got cheap rubber from my local Canadian Tire. They had them in stock, and I got the rubber mounted on the rims before I was out of my doctor's appointment.

I would also recommend the step up to the 17 inch size now that it has been brought up.

I needed a set of wheels for my daily and the tire guy said they didn't have any in stock.
He asked if I would want to step up to the 17 inch size as they have a set of wheels in stock as well as the tires I wanted.
So now our daily sub rolls on 17's.

Thank you for all of the feedback and advice. As I have no idea what the bolt pattern, backspacing, etc. should be can you please let me know if these rims fit my 1987 V20?

Do some comparing on a wheel size calculator to understand better.
You didn’t even post the width but guessing 16x10 0 offset based on the 5” bs.
Answer is maybe and likely fine but need to know tire size and truck lift.

Measure the back space on the wheels that are on there now and decide from there. You might as well buy a full set of the 16s now, ditch the 16.5s all the way.

Yup... Grit Dog.
Love that calculator:
https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Unless it is strictly an off road ranch truck, avoid anything that says it's a BLEM, unless you can inspect in person. With the tires sometimes coming in need of added weights, you cannot afford to get a warped or bent wheel, unless you want to eat your new tires up.
