Yup, unless you spend $7000.00+ thats what you get here! And they are all still rusty and I don't mean on the surface. I mean cab corners and rockers GONE!!

Looked at a 2002 last night that I was told was "rust free". Guy said the rockers had been repaired a few weeks ago. Yup, they were. With expanding foam, chicken wire and roll on bed liner!!!!! Oh, and he couldn't find the title. $6,400.00 for that one.
Ready to go!!!

Keep working on the square, maybe get a beater car so you have a driver.

Keeping the square is still an option. I have a 97 Saturn SL2 as my DD winter car but the truck has to do wood duty during the winter. My problem is I get totaly consumed by projects like this to the point I neglect other things or get short tempered at things that shouldn't be a big deal. Perhaps I need to work on myself as much as the square in order to get through this. The square project has snow balled way beyont the original intent. Gotta do some thinking. And talking with the wife.

Looking for opinions here. I am torn between carb or TBI while considering my replacement engine while there are some things I like about the TBI they dont seem to out weigh the simplicity and exellent running I have grown to love about my Q-jet 350 in the 78. Can I get a show of hands with an explanation why you chose the route you did??

My truck came with a TBI and I love it, all I had to do was replace some gaskets and o rings and she's purring like a kitten, starts great in the winter even in below zero temps. I've had carb motors before and did not like them at all.

Thinking of picking this up along with a heavy duty trailer for fire wood.

It's a sign to keep your square and fix its mechanical issues :)

Think I'm gonna pick this up and look for a trailer. Then liquidate all the stuff I have collected. Will get back into a square again in a few years. Will see how it looks.

So I picked this up and have posted a for sale thread. Expect to post to craigslist tonight. Sorry! Do yall mind if I stick around anyway? Someday I will get another square. When it fits life a little better.
