The new KO2 tires are better than the old ones- I've had 3 sets of the old style and have had the new ones on my Silverado. After a heavy downpour I was able to turn my 7,200 lb Silverado around on a forest service road with a steep incline while only in 2wd. It has the factory locker- but the tires surprised me. Thought for sure I'd need 4wd.

Some of my friends have had the Hankook Dynapro ATM tires and I've checked them out. Very good treadlife and good on the highway. This is a good tire, but I don't think they make it in the size you want.

Aren't the new ones the same tread pattern?

They look similar but have some differences. Here is one picture I found of how they can last much longer on gravel roads. I've found they throw a lot less gravel than the old design did. That it makes it much easier on the body of the truck.

I haven't really tested them too much, but the Wild Country Radial XTXs on my rig have been pretty good the past month.
