Those were fullsize airbags. You can find much smaller ones out of things like side pillars and such. Regardless, that was a reply to someone suggesting c4. Take your pick between the two. Also was a joke bud lol
Lol. I picked up on it being a joke. My joke was about damaging the roof panels, by launching said shitbag into them. Iirc, the guys who swapped roof panels on my truck said there were just under 100 spot welds on the inner and outer panels. And they had to do the donor roof too.

Need to have blow off roof panels, like James Bond, in "Goldfinger".

CUCV

I think that is standard on a CUCV, my M1009 has one too! I read somewhere that all CUCV's use the same key. Changing out the ignition lock is going to be one of the first things I do on mine.

Park with your grill close to something like a wall, ditch or anything that someone can't just get a tow dolly past. Park with the wheels turned left or right to full lock. Install one the disconnect switch ideas already stated in previous comments (I like the fused HEI to ground switch). Also having a manual transmission will help since a lot of people don't know how to drive one. In the end insurance to cover the vehicle about the best way to recover from it being stolen. Meth-heads have days days to set around and figure out ways to get something if they want to get it.

So since they damaged your steering column, whats a good replacement steering column? I bought my truck after an attempted theft on the truck. Mines a 86 K30 with the manual trans and I've scoured all the junk yards in my area and I'm ready to just buy a new one. But who makes one?
