Rear suspension 85 C10 2 WD

When applying brakes i hear a pop or snapping sound coming from the rear of the truck, could this be the spring eye bushings worn?

you might want to check the adjuster at the middle-bottom of the brake shoes, i forget what its called but could be the problem.

I looked at the brakes every thing looks good there.

Check your U bolts for rust around where they go around the rear also give them a tap with a hammer as well as the plates if they move they are loose and need replaced
