Problems

It kind of sounds like it's the fuel pump relay to me. It the canister looking solenoid on the firewall on the passenger side.

could i test it
i pulled the pump and the top left wire looks like they soldered a red wire to it it is running to the frame i guess as a ground
but i took the pump out and blew through it make sure it wasnt clogged or anything
i dunno this is really starting to piss me off
i wish i could just take it to a shop

I doubt it, but you never know. Might be worth getting tested. I always thought that a pickup coil just died and never came back. Didn't you say that you can get it to run after a few tries?

The only other thing it could be is the oil pressure switch. It's designed to shut off the fuel pump if the oil pressure reading drops below 5 psi. That way, if you get into an accident and the engine stops, the fuel pump won't keep feeding fuel to the TBI and feed any fire that may start.

well the pick up coil is pretty rusty
and my fuel pressure gauge stays on like 60 at all times it doesnt work
i can drive bout a mile and it dies and it starts right back up
in the morning or after it sits for a while it takes like 10 tries

Now when i start it i get sparks coming from my hot wire on the starter and it hits the starter

could it be the tps cause i mean it does the jerking and bucking at low rpms

also my oil pressure gauge stays at sixty even with the motor off could the switch by the dizzy be causing it to stall?

I originally thought it was a fuel issue, but now it sounds like it's an electrical issue. Getting sparks off of the starter is never a good thing. I'd yank the starter off and have it tested to see if it's not an internal issue like a faulty solenoid causing the sparks.

The bucking at low rpm's could be that the ECM isn't getting either full voltage or the flow to it is being interupted, like in a short.

Ultimately, your best bet is to take it to a shop if you can and have them throw it on a machine so you don't throw good money at it blindly.

If you get sparks at the starter you better take it off and have it tested and check all the wires, mainly the grounds and hot to the starter and solenoid wires and such.

i just see the sparks shooting out of the wire like the insulation not the connector

If I were you, I'd take the starter off and get it tested and check those wires. Sparks anywhere in the electrical system, whether it's from the connector or somewhere in the wire, is a sure sign of a short.

so the short could be anywhere?

i also have a purple wire hanging down on the passenger side firewall it says its for an 02 sensor but my 02 sensor is plugged in on the drivers side

well i tried changing the fuel pump relay no luck

Well i found out my hot wire to my junction box was a little lose so it wasnt making full contact and that my hot wire to my starter was lose PO took both nuts off instead of one so that will be fun to take off but i cant even hear the pump run now can i put an aftermarket one they are like 40 instead of 60 buck
