I had to shorten my brake lines when I made my longbed a shortbed. While bleeding, I can only get fluid to bleed out the right rear. The left rear will not even get fluid. I did reset the proportioning valve so I don’t believe that to be the problem. What would cause this?

My guess is a clog or crimp some where. Did you take the left rear hub off?

Start at the 'T' over the rear axle.

Gotta be in the line from the axle to the wheel cylinder. Take that off from the T and the wheel cylinder and see if it's clogged.

Crack open the line where it attaches to the cylinder. Fluid at the right it is either T, line to left cylinder, bleeder screw or cylinder itself. Have seen the cups inside the cylinder stick, cover up the bleeder hole internally, usually caused by dirt or corrosion.

replace the left rear brake line. I usually buy a standard brake line stick that is too long, shape and cut it ½" or so long, flare the cut end (don't forget the fitting before the new flare), and I bet that will fix it. Your line is just clogged. Also, I use a mytyvac unit to suck the brake fluid right out. Works great.
