Powersteering v belt mystery.

Well figured it out tonight, got the right belt for it. But now on to other problems. We turned the truck on to test the ps and it overheated and I have no assist so we gotta figure that out. Any tips? I know it's coming out the pressure line, haven't checked the return line yet due to being out of time but I was thinking if flushing the system.

These are used to measure and the newer ones are plastic. You measure the outside of the belt.

Nope that goes in center of the belt and you spread it out to measure inside circumference. Or you do like @Rusty Nail said you wrap a string around the pulleys . 43 inches of string needs a 43 inch belt. For example 7430. 7/16 belt 43 inch circumfrence
