lol 10° of play.....my recent one I replaced had more than that and I was excited. Aren't there rebuild kits for these with directions? I'll do some digging but my steering isnt what it was 3 months ago.
I know. Its not that much, but still, I want 0.

You'd think as many times as I've asked, I'd remember the years, if looking for a used one, it's a different ratio, but some Dodge gear boxes also fit our trucks and I'm pretty sure it's later models too, so you may be able to find one with less age and miles on it. @RetroC10Sport knows the interchange years.

Reference the question about cross-over steering. Its a common modification for 4wd trucks, especially if they are lifted, and it helps straighten out the steering geometry when the suspension and truck are going to be at extreme angles (rock crawling, etc.).

I have also see ads that suggest you can swap a 2WD box in for a 4WD box as part of a switch to cross-over steering. Since harder to find 4WD boxes, that would open up more choices for where to get a steering box if you could use a 2WD box on a 4WD.
