Here's what I'm working with... it currently has 33" M/T mudders (305/70R16) on it and I'm trying to get closer to the stock look and stance. But, I have it at a shop now for a bunch of mechanical work and they told me the truck doesn't have a lift. I didn't ask about shocks and if those were replaced with something else. Does it look like it's sitting higher than stock, or is it just the tires?
if you like the height of the truck, I'd stick with the 33's and I'd google M/T mudders vs Courser CXT and then Courser MXT. Open it up to other tire manufacturers as well. Both that I mentioned are not as aggressive as the M/T with the CXT being the least aggressive and better road ride.

nice truck btw other than the tires.....would get on my nerves on the highway also.

I actually think I prefer the factory height. This was my father’s farm truck in the early 90s and I don’t remember it being this lifted (although I was a kid). It was sold when he passed away many years ago and I tracked it down a couple years ago and bought it back.

So I’m kind of going down a nostalgia/sentimental path and my gut tells me to bring it back to stock height.

I would say track down some 15x8 stock rally wheels, put 31x10.50's on them, and slap them on the pickup and see what you think. If it looks too high, you can always get different springs and drop it back to stock height. I have 31x10.50 15's on rally wheels on my suburban that has the stock springs in the front yet (added a leaf in the rear to help pick up the rear) and I think it is just right. :). This is the only recent pic I could find since I put the 31x10.50's on it. Was on our big family roadtrip last summer and it was loaded down pretty good at the time.

I believe there were 3 different width's for the rallies. I also think the 8" were the widest offered. Aftermarket made more.

Help. @bucket @HotWheelsBurban
I agree, the Rallye wheel that was most commonly used on the square body trucks and Burbs was the 15x8. There is a 15x7 version but they're not as common. These were options for the C and K models in 5 lug and 6 lug. 8 lug trucks back then had to make do with the white steel wheels and dog dish caps, or the later ones had the 16" OBS style full wheel covers. Those are stainless steel and the retaining edges are sharp! I found that out, after pulling one to do brake work, and it bit me....

Any idea the stock dimensions of this truck? I'm surprised they couldn't find evidence of a lift...what should I look for next time I see the truck to point it out (other than the fact it looks higher than it should be)?
I don’t have any Ira of the stock dimension. I did do the same thing you’re doing.y dad bought my truck new, and he added 36” tires through the years. As I was working on it and driving it more, I put 33” mud terrains on, then eventually returned to stock springs, 31” all season tires on 8” steel wheels. It rode and drove 100% better in factory configuration. Looked better too in my opinion. I have a few pictures here, factory springs and wheels, on 31’s. It does look like it sits low in the rear, but that’s because of the body line design. It was actually level.

Thank you. Took me a 6 month search and a 7 hour round trip to get them lol.

I got super lucky when I got mine. They were sitting outside a welding shop in Northern Iowa, near the shop's dumpster. I asked the fella inside if they were getting rid of them, he said I could take them for free. They have an ancient set of BFG All Terrains on them, in a really weird size for a truck tire. Iirc, they are N50's or something like that. Like what would have been found on a custom van or the back of a Camaro with air shocks... but they are All Terrains, lol.

Lucky lol. I think I told you about mine, saw some before and after pictures on a random facebook page. He had lifted his truck and put aftermarket wheels on. I messaged him and he said he would sell them, that he had tried to scrap them but the place wouldn’t take them with tires on them. So, it was persistence that paid off lol.

I would find a new shop cuz that definitely has a lift, they don't know what they're talking about. I'm gonna guess a 4" lift
Yup go slap the arrive writer or owner for being a ******* and don’t let them work on your truck. ….buncha tards there obviously.
I’d guess 2.5-3” min. Could totally be 4. In front at least. If it’s level, the rear is probably 2” lift.

OP stock K10 springs are 2 leaf and flat if they’re new and a slight frown when they lose a little spring rate over the years.
More than 2 front leafs and a smile = lift springs. I’d bet you see or should see drop brackets for the sway bar to chassis mounts and drop Pittman arm or drag link. If those additional components aren’t present your steering geometry is off.
Wheels, tires and “look”, that’s a personal question. What do YOU want it to look like. IMO 31s with a lift look small and 33s no lift look stuffed (and are). Rims? The options are endless. But if you want the factory look and don’t want to deconstruct your truck and lower it, then I’d be thinking same 33s on 8-10” wide rally’s with center caps and trim rings or solid steelies, white with Chevy hubcaps. Those were the 2 oe options but in 15” rims. Your choices are endless just about for rim diameter and width in several oe or period correct styles.

Now wait a second, the O.P. can't tell if it's lifted and its his truck. The guy working on his truck is very likely 1/2 the age of the truck and also very likely the first one he's ever worked on. No lift blocks,no body spacers the guy working on it very likely thinks it all looks factory.
