I am updating the stepside LS FEAD. Removing the holley and putting a billet drive. I got a P/S cooler
for this setup and need a AN fitting for the pump. How do I find the size of the pressure fitting as I dont
have a old hose to go by.

Here is the new swap if you have not seen it yet.

This is where I am now. Video coming soon. Intake swap next

If you are running AN line, you'll need the same fitting for the pressure port on the steering box. I believe the one you found is correct. Iirc, the return fitting on the steering box is a different size, so there are two different size adapter fittings on the market.

Also, if you want to get fancy, you can put a compression type AN adapter on the pump return outlet, and then run AN line on the return too.

Im going to run twist loc on the pressure side, and push loc on the return side with a large cooler. I know, its over kill. but it will also look good. :happy160:

are you using hydroboost? If not you would benefit from a type II (TC) pump, but that has a different fitting aswell.

No Hydra boost. The Holley mid mount was Type II.

so are you going back to a saginaw p pump to get more floaty steering , quieter steering, or to turn buigger tires at lower RPM?

I needed the holley mid mount and Intake for a F-Body turbo build. I really did not need it in the truck.
Ran the truck today really hard to see if anything was going break or if the belt was going to sling off.
steering feels exactly the same and the truck runs fabulous. I think engine looks better with truck stuff
in it. Full video coming soon

its weird you would describe the steering as the same and sounds the same, but i wont question it as long as it meets your needs. and good adding a cooler, the saginaw p pump makes more heat. what fluid you using?
