I use to use butt connectors, and one of my buddies was giving me **** over it........as I heard some of our friends did (all in good fun) he went and bought me a soldering iron from Sear it was like twenty bucks. showed me how to use it, I still have the soldering iron, and will never go back to butt connectors unless it was a quick fix. Trust me once you use a soldering iron and how much nicer it looks, you will never go back.
