:word: in fact I locked my keys in it today and had to have the wife come bring me the spare key. I was happy to see this module arrive in the mail today.

Have you posted a video of the new muffler?

My brother-in-law's truck needs the lights on and the left blinker going to start it. And he leaves his lights on all the time. He needs a buzzer too I think.

I made an attempt at it the weekend after I had it installed but it was a terrible vid because of the wind so I didn't post it. If I can get another day where it's nicer out but no wind I'll give it another whirl. It's probably better to let it break in anyway so that you can hear it at it's true tone since they're always quieter when brand new :)

were you being serious about your brother needing that stuff on to start his? I totally needed a buzzer. I didn't realize how much I depended on that thing!!!

Did you debadge it, or does it not have the Z71 RRO code. I like z71 off-road package.

I'll show you dirty and unloved :hump:

to be honest I'm not sure if it has the z71 package or not. When I got it the stickers on the bed were already taken off and when I had it in the body shop and had the tailgate repainted I had the tailgate debadged.

That is a nice looking truck you coming together there! I actually really like the lights, front and back, and how they tie in with each other. After looking at it (probably longer than I should have...) I am thinking black wheels would look really good on it!

I asked about the exhaust because I was being lazy and didn't feel like backtracking in the thread. And I also found a vid of my '05 with a Flowmaster knock off. And I was curious how the Mag sounded on that generation of SBC. Getting ideas for my car is all.

Unfortunately, yes, very serious. Claims it is because of an alarm install his buddy did for him.

yeah that's cool. I'll try take #2 on the vid this weekend and see how successful I am. I like both magnaflow and flowmaster and feel like each has their place depending on the sound you want. :) I first tried magnaflow on the wife's burb due to less drone internally with it being the family ride and I LOVE it's sound. I have duel flowmaster 40's on the '77 and love them on there because it just sounds mean and will wake the dead at WOT :D

Also, the tails are the reason I picked he front lights that I did. :) I liked the lightly tinted look so much and wanted them to work together so to speak :) glad you like it :High 5:

 I'd suggest next time he steer clear of said buddy for such installs :D

Welp....have almost everything i need now for the audio/video upgrade in the '98. All I need now is a new head unit and new carpet. figured I might as well replace the carpet at the same time. My speakers should be arriving in a few days (ordered from a buddy on TYF) and my sub enclosure arrived last night. It will sit under the rear seat. It'll be a set up of one 10" sub and 6.5" components in the doors. Should put out great sound! My head unit will have capabilities to play DVDs as well as the other usual features. Should be a nice setup and I'm stoked. Once this is installed the only other interior mods I'll be doing to the interior is upgraded seats, temp/comp mirror mod and auto down for the passenger window.
