The billet bowtie on the front started corroding so I needed to do something about it

If you look close here you can see the biggest corrosion spot below the chrome plating

You, or your wife rather, has a cool rig! I wish my wife would be interested in something like that. Besides the fact we don't want to afford it, she doesn't want to drive something "so big". She likes her mini-van so I guess that leaves me to deal with the sports cars and trucks.

Thank you, sir :hands:

I'm lucky in that my wife was open to buying the burb to appease my disdain for all things minivan  then from there she let's me do whatever to "her" Burb and trusts that my modding tastes are not overly gaudy and try to keep everything clean and tasteful. My brother has a minivan and every time we take a trip in our burb we are VERY thankful that we have the burb over a van. The extra room is a huge plus over a minivan. The only down side is gas mileage but I'm willing to pay the extra cost to have the more room :D She had a little adjustment period with driving something the size of the Suburban but now she's use to it and doesn't like driving a smaller vehicle.

I should clarify however, she did approve my want for a toy 'Burb. :bleh: We have agreed on something in the 4"-6" lift and 35"-37" tire range, and of course it has to be a squarebody 'Burb. :High 5: Keep up the good work, I have been following your builds from when I was on FSC.

:D and this is where I have not been so lucky up to this point  I tried to get the wife a square body burb and she'd have nothing of it!! I have also yet to convince her to let me get a second square body but I'm still working on her on that front

Sounds like in the end we both have cool wives who let us have our fun but with some boundaries :hands: I know I can't complain :)
