I did it myself. It's actually really straight forward on the new Suburbans and Tahoes. My biggest pain was replacing the front struts but that's because of needing more hands :) The job itself is really straight forward.

Were lookin at newer Tahoes because our boys are getting big and our Grand Cherokee is getting to small. But shes anting to go the other way with one when and if we get one. She likes her 4x4's and loves her Jeep being lifted.

We've had our Burb for 2 years now and LOVE it! It's the perfect size for us with having 3 boys and plenty of cargo space for us behind the 3rd row of seats for our road trips. We had a Yukon before this and liked it as well but just didn't have enough room for us and our growing family combined with the necessity for cargo space :) The good news is that between gas prices and the shaky economy you can get a full size SUV for a good price if you look hard enough :D

Lifting or lowering these new GM Suvs is super easy, man. Anyone with half way decent collection of tools can do it in their driveway.

Nah....too cost prohibitive to add a supercharger plus all the necessary supporting mods you'd need to do with it as to not grenade the entire drive train. It will be getting a Blackbear tune in the very near future but that's the extent of the "go fast" mods that'll take place.
