I had thrown that in there in jest, but I would totally do it. I should say I have done it. Most recent, tearing down a couple 14b semi floats to evaluate, had a socket for the pinion nuts, but did not have a 3/4 drive ratchet or breaker bar, or adapter from 3/4 to 1/2. So air hammer and chisel, grab a flat and they broke loose and spun off pretty easy that way.I approve of this post. Picked up this tool and ordered some of the umbrella style valve seals this week. Hoping to do this job with my son this winter. Need to pick up a service manual for the blazer so that I know all the torque specs and whatnotsGet you one of these. I put a couple of strong rubber bands around it where it grips the spring so it wouldn't come off.
